lesson number one, if he hasnt thrown the ex out after three years hes not going to. lesson two if he still lives with the ex, seperate rooms or not, hes still madly in love, and you will play second fiddle. three when he tells you they are going to try and work things out, pls dont go any where and calls you every day afterwards, you need to stop answering the phone cause if they were working things out he wouldnt have time to talk to you. lesson complete, hard learned but from chaos comes growth

I totally agree, especially if there's even the tiniest trace of jealousy or possessiveness in anybody involved, and there almost always is. If you want a mutually exclusive, monogamous rerationship I believe you have to be very up-front about it and ready to accept rejection (and you HAVE to accept it: if the other guy says he's not ready for an exclusive relationship, BELIEVE HIM and move on) before you find The Right One. And Mr. Right IS out there- "Like a rare and precious metal, beneath a ton of rock, it takes some time and trouble to seperate from the stock..." Above all, don't give up, and DON'T SETTLE!
