what about a real mohawk warrior
Of all the ladies I've seen with mohawks I've yet to see one who has the nerve to pay homage to the native American tribe who first intoduce the mohawk. If you really want to do someting different how about some leggings and a loincloth maybe a breastplate, paint your face, put some feathers in your hair?

YEAH. Warriors. Not their womenfolk. haha
But really, some people do it, and depending on what you're wearing or say you're portraying, you could be doing something really offensive towards said tribes. Everything had a meaning, you have to keep in mind...
I just wish I could remember the documentary I had to watch in sociology about this.

My family is of NA descent, but we aren't from the Mohawk tribe. :3 There are also mohawk wearing tribes in Africa; there's more than one culture you can pay homage to.
I also don't see why you've limited it to ladies only, all genders should be able to participate if they wish (I do agree about researching the meanings though!). In any event, I plan to attach some collected feathers to my sides when they've grown out and gotten thicker. And that picture is amazing, do you know where it's from or who the artist is?

Wow you could really rock this look. I've never seen anything close to it. Wish you didn't live so far away I would be happy to pay you for a modeling session. I use to be into 35mm photography awhile back but put my camera away except for special occassions. I just picked up a nice digital and im really wanting to get back into amature photography. Would love to spend a day photographing you in leggings and mocosians. Ah well If you pull it off please post pictures.
