Mohawks Rock

In Yuba City, Ca living in the outskirts. I had the experience to place my hawk up at this length on my own. In fact, the hawk was slightly longer when I raised it in this image. Noticed the hair ends close to evenly cut on that same day, from the front ends all the way to the back ends. Trimmed at least 2 inches & since I raised (fixed) my hawk on my own. Having it too long could be difficult to erect and remain that way for the entire day. Having such a lengthy hawk & the experience to keep that puppy up until I decided to wash it out, I could feel any subtle breeze pushing on the sides of my hawk. One day coming home from HS with my hawk up (in Yuba City,CA), I heard a construction fellow working on a house down the road “Whoa, you only see those on tv!?”

You’re very welcomed Giant Mohawk the Man. This image was taken near the end of Spring in 1988 (my senior last days of Yuba City H.S.) in Yuba City, CA in front of my house. A very good friend of mine to the left, named Greg S. introduced me to tons of long hair bands at the time which I took to liking, as I did in return shared plenty of punk rock bands. The little fellow to the lower right is my little brother, Ralph. It was tough at times to have such a whopping hawk in my home town. Typically, if I wasn’t known. I was feared or admired. For the most part, word spreads easily through a small town & I became well known/likable.

Nice, had to tag this with 1988 to match my random 1988 mohawk picture as well. Granted this one definitely trumps mine by far and away.
