well its easy when your hair is nappy and fried it pretty much stands on its own and knox jelo works miracles when used with hairspray .... i tease the base of the mohawk a lil and comb it out repeating that till its standing before spray or anything . and then spray ... but focus on the base of the hawk mostly you dont want the fan to be top heavy
