What's special about your mohawk?
I know that normally having a mohawk is a pretty unique and special thing, but here in this community where most people have one, what is different about your mohawk? Is it a bihawk/trihawk? Do you have a little one growing off to the side? Do you fan the top and spike the back? leopard print or checkered sides?
I wanna hear some unique things outta you guys. My 'hawk really isnt that unique except for that I shave off about an inch or two of the very back of mine

Mines is special because it chooses which days it wants to go up >_>. Everything I try fails, works once and then doesn't the next again day.

my hawk is bubblegum pink, with the sides shaved 1/4 inch and dyed green. which i can wear in a fan or liberties.
i shaved a star into the right side and dyed it pink.
i have a chelsea and the bangs and ear pieces are blonde so i run the streaks of color through them too.
i don't have pictures ATM but i'm going to the beach today, i'll get pictures then. :)

mine is bright pink this weekend :) generally do a 4 spike liberty hawk... about 2 inches off of the back of mine as well...

Mine is special because I don't actually need any sort of product to keep it up, I can keep it up by sheer force of will (oh, and genetics plus an excellent styling cut play a part as well, lol). This weekend it will have purple streaked in it and the transformation shall be complete. >.> Maybe in a month or so I'll have a design put on the sides.

Mine's not so much unique, as rare...well, combined with the stripes right round to the back and in a beard too. Though I've seen folk now on this site with at least the stripes in the hair sides.
It's special, 'cause it makes me feel happy. =)

Mine is pretty odd, don't know if it is special to anyone but me.
It is longer in front than in the back because I wear it down a lot and didn't want to get the pseudo-mullet look. When I wear it down, it kind of looks like an early nineties style with the front framing my face and the back to my shoulders. It is also like an inch wider in front than in back.
It is about 10" on top when fanned and about 6" in back. I keep the sides buzzed to 1/2". I usually like to wear it half hawked and then laid back. I have pics of it up. When I fan it, I usually leave the first inch down and wear them in almost an emo-bang.
It is special to me because I have wanted it for more than five years and didn't because of my job but finally said furk it and got it.

i have a descending hawk its about 9 inches in the front and tapers right down to the back of my head..... i havent quite worked out the kinks of fanning it proper but spikes can come out looking sick
