now i hate walmart even more.
Well, this happened a little while ago but i figured i would post it just.... well because i'm bored.
Anyways, long story short: don't steal from walmart.
I HATE WALMART. lol. and a few of my friends and i went into the store to uhh... borrow a few things. nothing big, like maybe a skirt and some makeup (and awesome bright green duct tape) and then two of my friends wanted to try to take two scooters. SCOOTERS. they were planning on just walking out the door with them and then scootering away to their place. kinda a silly idea. anyways, they left. so it was me and two more people. so we decided to leave too. and as soon as we got out the door, walmart security stopped us.
we got arrested for theft under $5000. brought into this room in the back of walmart. i was terrified because if i have any type of criminal record........ there is practically no chance i will get a job in my field. anyway, the two friends that tried to take the scooters were brought into the room as well, a few minutes later.
we got searched. the cops came. but the only good part of the story........ we had the most awesome cops ever. they just laughed at my scooter friends. and then we sat there and talked about warped tour, NOFX, misfits, and a bunch of other awesome bands. and then they let us go.
but yeah, don't take things from walmart because they pay a LOT more attention than i thought they did. or if you do take things from walmart........ just don't get caught >.< or go with people who try to take scooters and make you look very suspicious.........

I got caught looting $90 dollars worth of shit from there. They took me into the surveillance room, too. The cameras are so fucking insane..They can really see anything, which sucks. Anyways the cop that came there was an ass. I got fined and community service. I never did the community service ಥ_ಥ
I probably have a warrant out for my arrest atm >:|

One of my favorite parts of my job is LP (loss prevention). No joke. Half the time people think I'm just another customer. I'm trying to do LP full time, cause it just comes naturally to me.
The more we have stolen from us, the more prices are raised to cover the cost. (not at wal mart - another lovely place of retailing though).

It is!! I helped our LP crew once, all they do is shop and people watch. No name tags, no uniform, nothing. It could be the old lady with the cane looking at prunes or the kid with a suspicious backpack looking at the condoms. haha
I play a game in other stores and watch people. Had one girl so bugged out that I told her if she was gonna steal the crap just to do it instead of trying to hide it around an endcap and looking like a fool. I didn't work there so I didn't know why she was freaking out - didn't have a specific colored shirt on or anything. She dropped the shit and ran. So hilarious.

naww, im not mad at them for stopping me from taking things from them.
i just hate walmart because of how they treat their overseas workers, etc.
you know.....
but yeah, I was just in a generally bad mood that day so I was pissed off that I got caught and I couldnt keep all the awesome stuff.

Most places have a lot more cameras then meets the eye. A couple of friends and I got kicked out of the store for trying things on in the isle. Fuck dressing rooms.
But yeah, I'm going to have to go with the Reverend on this one. I can understand hating Walmart because they are abusive assholes, with amazing amounts of problems, but I can't really blame them for stopping you from stealing things.

Lol yesterday my best friend and our friend anthony were at walmart. We were trying to buy a computer game that is like 10 years old but still 40 bucks. We were short a few bucks so anthony just takes the cd case out of the box and we walk out with it lol. Free Game :D

Thing is, walmart can't actually do shit to you. You walk out and the alarm goes off, all they can do is ASK you to come back so they can scan you. If you keep walking, there is 100% nothing they are allowed to do. They can not touch you, even tap you on the shoulder to get your attention. Managers and managers alone are the only store associates that are allowed to even confront you about possibly lifting, and they're only allowed to if they personally watch you, in person take an item and hide it on your person.
I used to work there, I know their rules. They're more afraid of being sued than losing something that cost their company a few dollars.
Also, the large camera domes do not house cameras (I know this from working there, during the remodel to a super walmart, a few got knocked and the domes fell to reveal... nothing is there.). Only the smaller domes do, those are the ones you have to look out for. Hell, even then, I took a bottle of baby oil when in front of a camera that was pointed right at me, put it in my cargo pocket, and walked out. Nothing.
