TANK GIRL!! Trust me, you'll love it! One of the best cult comics, its about an awesome, anti-social Aussie who lives in her badass tank with her boyfriend/kangaroo Booga and does nothing but drink crappy beer and cause massive destruction and mayhem! The original color graphic novels are "out of print," but still reletively easy to find. They just re-released the origainal three graphic novels in black and white, but I wouldn't recomend them. The ones you want are written/colored by Alan Martin and Jamie Hewllet (you may recognize the artwork, because Hewllet is also one of the creators of the Gorillaz!), just search 'Tank Girl One' and you should be set! Like wise, if there is a local comic shop near you, just stop in and ask. If they don't have any in stock, they should be able to order it for you!

I'm a comic virgin and hungry for the graphic verse.
Advice & recommendations please! Bear in mind i like anti-system, rebellious stuff with beauty and a bit of bite.

Lobo is pretty sweet, I've always meant to pick up some old Swamp thing comics.

Go for the original volumes. They are the real comics from the old days, just make sure you get the color ones! They came back with the black and white redone ones, and they're not worth the money :(

Essentially yes. Each color has a ring and emotion and the black ring is trying to destroy all emotion. And to destroy all emotion it has to destroy everything. So pretty much the ring revives dead people and turn them into Zombie black lanterns. Its crazy.
