good to hear things are going well for you K shame about the work load though , work is going well here and I am part way through my fire technology degree , seems to me like the more education you get the easier it becomes , so much can be obtained through recognition of prior learning if you have the life skill's and of course being an old fart I qualify lol

Thank you!

More or less. I'm constantly streaming what I know and creating new bonds between what could be while I'm working (perhaps mindlessly!) since my shifts seem to get longer and longer. I have prebuilt new terrariums in my head (from scratch!) and figured out new designs and cannot wait to actually create them - after I marry and move. I know Mr. Khaos will be quite pleased with them, too!

You know what I learned in school (aquaculture) would be one of the most important sources of healthier food if we were to inhabit Mars? YES! So word of warning to our future martains. Don't piss this girl off!! =P

How is work and everything going? Learning any new skills or certifications? =)

Hey Spook!

Been busy! Planning wedding on top of working stupid long hours and weeks so I can move back home and not live under a bridge. New England isn't too friendly during the winter ;). Can't wait to get back to school. Being out for a year is killing me!!!

I'm a college grad and I'm not flipping burgers :D I know plenty of people who didn't go to college that make damn good money, and I know people that did go to college who have done nothing with their degree. But then they were usually people that were only in college because that's what you're "supposed" to do. Not because they actually knew what they wanted to do and had goals to aspire to and drive them. So if they have no ambition of course they are going to fall back on flipping burgers rather than busting their ass to get a "real" job.

Yeah...with an attitude like that, they would be.

Gotta keep in mind, half the people here are more aggressive (personality wise), too. I see too much get lost in the shuffle cause people are too afraid to speak up or go after what they want.

Went from 8th grade to 10th grade, but then skipped so much school I failed a grade, doh... sucks I would have graduated at 16, but shoulda coulda woulda. Still graduated on time, did some extra technical school stuff for graphic design. Got a scholarship to a computer training school and got some edumacation there before going onto college and getting a bachelors in Fine Arts emphasis in Graphic Design with a minor in French (I'd taken french since 7th grade so figure, why not?). I'm thinking I may go back and get a masters eventually, maybe when my kids are in school. I loved college :D
