How wide should a Chelsea hawk be?

I kind of feel like my 'hawk might be to wide, but worried about going to narrow as I have thin hair... I have side pieces and sometimes have a fringe down.

Thanks!! I made it a bit narrower,maybe two inches across. Everyone told me it looks better :) I'll keep in mind about the base for a taller 'hawk!
